How Do I Use the DVD Recorder Functionality of My Pioneer DVR?

To record a program on a DVD, perform the following steps:

 

Step one:Go to TiVo Central by pressing TiVo button on the remote control.

 
 

Step two:Press the Open/Close button on the front of your Digital Video Recorder (DVR) to open the DVD tray. It may take a few seconds for the tray to open.

 
 

Step three:Insert a recordable disc.

 
 

Step four:Press the Open/Close button to close the DVD tray.

 
 

Note:TiVo Central will indicate the recordable disc has been inserted.

 

Step five:From TiVo Central, select DVD: DVD-RW disc inserted.

 
 

Note:You can also start using the DVD recorder by pressing the DVD button on the remote or on the front panel of the DVR.

Step six:From the DVD screen, select Copy programs to DVD.

Step seven:From the Choose Programs screen, select the programs to copy to the DVD.

 
 

Note:The numbers indicate the order in which the programs will appear on the disc. The graph at the top of the screen shows how much room you have left on the DVD.

 

Step eight:Select Done choosing programs.

Step nine:On the Enter Name screen, using the remote control, enter a name for the disc.

 
 

Step ten:Select Done Entering Name.

Step eleven:Press SELECT to begin copying the files to the DVD. The Copying to DVD screen will appear.
