If your DVR did not come pre-activated, we recommend that you activate your TiVo Service before beginning the setup process.

This setup is for advanced users with sophisticated home entertainment systems. It includes an A/V receiver, which is a stereo component that can connect multiple audio and video devices and switch between them. The illustration shows how to connect your Series2 DT DVR, a VCR or DVD recorder, a DVD player or game console, and your TV to an A/V receiver. You can then select an input source on the A/V receiver to choose which device’s output will be displayed on the TV. For more details about using this configuration, refer to the online User Guide and the instructions that were included with your A/V receiver and other equipment.
