What if I change the type of cables connected from my cable or satellite box to my DVR?

If you have changed the type of cable that is connected from your cable or satellite box to your DVR, you will need to update your settings:

 

Step one:Make sure that your cable or satellite box is turned on and connected to the back of your DVR.

 
 

Step two:From TiVo Central, select Messages & Settings; then Settings; then Video; then Video Hookup.

 
 

Step three:On the Warning screen, choose OK, access this setting.

 
 

Step four:Follow the on-screen instructions to select the correct video input.
