Do TiVo DVRs support satellite input?

New Customers

DIRECTV or DiSH Network subscribers who would like to receive the TiVo Service can do so by connecting a TiVo Series2 DVR to their existing satellite receiver.

 

NotesThe Series3 HD DVR and TiVo HD DVR are NOT compatible with satellite input.

 

Existing Customers Who Have DIRECTV DVR with TiVo

TiVo and DIRECTV continue to support existing DIRECTV DVRs with TiVo. However, new units are not currently being deployed.

DIRECTV and TiVo recently announced that they will be updating the software on DIRECTV-TiVo DVRs.  The update will include some user interface enhancements such as a 'Recently Deleted Items' folder. It will also give customers the ability to program their DVR online.
