| | Pursuant to FCC regulations, DVRs that are meant to receive over-the-air broadcast signals and are shipped within interstate commerce after March 1, 2007 must incorporate an ATSC tuner.
The following DVRs are designed to receive cable or satellite signals ONLY:
~ Series2 DT DVRs (TiVo Service Numbers starting with '649')
~ Factory renewed Series2 (single-tuner) DVRs (TiVo Service Numbers starting with '542')
As the above listed TiVo DVRs are not meant to receive over-the-air broadcast signals, they do not incorporate an ATSC tuner. |
