I´ve had satellite TV since 1999,TiVo since 2000. I was disappointed when our satellite provider and TiVo parted ways. I tried their DVR but after a year of daily reboots, mid-show freezes and receiver-related reception problems, I gave up. I resisted cable because it just didn´t offer as much in HD. Then I realized the issue isn´t channels, but viewing experience. My new TiVo HD makes the provider irrelevant and gives me a viewing experience that is, in a word, simply humane.

I have been a TiVo user for about two and a half years now, and I am pleased to have just read a story saying that TiVo turned its first annual profit. I have always wondered and worried about whether TiVo would be able to stay afloat in this environment, and now I have some piece of mind. I do not know what I would do without my TiVo. With more partnerships, a better user interface, and continued innovation TiVo will be able to stay on top of the digital video recording world.

We´ve had our TiVo DVR for 10 years and it still beats the other DirecTV receivers we´ve installed in other rooms. Heads above the rest!! I love TiVo and am so excited it´s coming out with HD. Hooray. Finally

I originally was in the market for a hard drive video recorder. After not finding one I asked Circuit City about TiVo. I have a C-band satellite dish and he thought it would work with it. After getting it home and trying unsuccessfully to get it to work with the satellite I called for support and was told that it wasn´t design to work with C-band and that I could return it. I tried one more set up and got it to work through channel 3. I had an HDTV since 2005. TV quality is better w/TiVo.

My wife whom I love dearly has never been an electronic person. She has only in the past three months learned how to email on her own. But for some reason she has mastered TiVo. She has her own TiVo and TV and can do things I only thought I knew how to do. When we are watching TV together she will control the TiVo and make it do things I did not know could be done. So I just sit back and enjoy this TiVo God.
