Wow!! TiVo technical Support is great. I had trouble with my cable card installation and after three calls to the cable company, it still didn´t work. I called TiVo technical support and they told me exactly what was wrong. I then called the cable company and with the information TiVo provided, they were finally able to fix the problem.

Love it, love it, love it! Who knew you could record shows while being miles away from your home! TiVo did, that´s who! I love my lifetime membership! Ordering movies, buying a pizza, showing family pics, playing games, listening to my ipod songs, catching up on recorded shows through every TiVo DVR in my house and now setting my TiVo DVR through my cell phone... oh yeah, did I mention I haven´t left my couch this morning to do any of this?

I didn´t want a lot of hassle trying to figure out how to use my new TiVo HD and I was surprised how easy it was to set up and record all my favorite shows. I have a Comcast HD DVR that I will be returning to Comcast soon. My wife likes the HD TiVo so much we are planning on getting 1 more for the family room. I´ll record all my favorite sports on one and my wife will be recording Hallmark and Lifetime on the other.

I got TiVo with my DirecTV service about 5 years ago. I hooked it up in 4 rooms and now I have only one running. I was ready to leave DirecTV as their DVRs were awful and I told them that. Upon hearing your love affair has returned, I am eagerly waiting for the new HD box. Thank goodness. TiVo is the best DVR and that is also my kids´ opinions.

I was one of the original TiVo subscribers having first started with them about 20 days after they offered service. I still have my original stand-alone 14-hour unit. DirecTV replaced my other 3 TiVos over the years with their sub-standard units. I am just waiting for the day when TiVos will, again, have DirecTV decoders so that I can get back to watching TV the way it was intended to be. On my TiVos.

To TiVo or not TiVo if that is your question let me tell you as a customer of theirs for years, that many people are asking you to buy their product(s) often with quite a lot of buffing. TiVo delivers on their promises. Their system is easy to use. You may have a few tweaks in it in the beginning but after you set it up there is none better. Their software is superb. It is one of the few software products that I have bought that didn´t disappoint me and cable DVRs can´t even touch.
