* TiVo® Series2™ Dual Tuner DVR: Record from two basic cable channels, or one basic cable and one digital cable channel, at once. Does not support recording from two digital cable or satellite channels at once. Supports recording from cable and satellite sources only; does not support recording from over-the-air antenna or high definition. For Qwest customers: you can use only one TiVo DVR per household. The DVR must be located in the same room as the Qwest residential gateway used to control the signal feed.
** TiVo® HD and TiVo® HD XL: Does not support satellite service. Two CableCARD™ decoders may be required for dual tuner functionality and to receive dual digital cable channels. Cable service required to receive cable channels. TiVo does not provide cable service. CableCARD is a trademark of Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. Works with over-the-air antenna. For Verizon FiOS customers: you may need to use a signal attenuator to decrease the strength of the signal feed before it enters the TiVo DVR. A low pass filter should also be installed to prevent macroblocking. Contact Verizon for more information.
